A technology company building digital identity infrastructure for the age of AI.

About Tools for Humanity

Tools for Humanity (TFH) is a technology company building identity and financial infrastructure designed for a global, AI-driven future. Founded in 2019 by Alex Blania and Sam Altman, TFH is headquartered in San Francisco and Munich and is made up of over 400 engineers, designers, cryptographers, economists, and thinkers focused on solving systemic challenges at scale.

TFH operates as a core technical contributor to the Worldcoin protocol, but functions independently — developing hardware, software, and systems that enable secure, decentralized identity on a global scale.

Engineering Contributions

As part of the engineering effort, I worked on key parts of the corporate platform — including internationalized content delivery, CMS integration, and high-performance frontend development. The site architecture is designed to scale with the brand, supporting multiple languages and markets out of the box.

  • Custom CMS architecture to support dynamic multilingual content.
  • Modular frontend structure tailored for rapid updates and scalability.
  • Optimized asset handling and rendering strategies for global traffic.

Product Design & Values

The TFH design language emphasizes calm, clarity, and global usability. Every interaction — from site navigation to identity flows — is crafted with inclusivity and neutrality in mind. The brand isn’t loud, but it’s confident.

Ethical Foundation

TFH is built on the belief that humans — not algorithms — should stay at the center of the digital economy. Their work reflects that: transparent systems, privacy-preserving architecture, and open-source principles guide every release.

Why It Matters

In a world increasingly defined by automation and synthetic content, TFH is solving for something timeless: how to prove you're human — and how to make that worth something. It’s not hype. It’s infrastructure.
